Sometimes. I just want to shove a bag of caramels in my face.  Is it just me?

Also on my mind, keeping up my calcium and mucho importante trace minerals potassium and iron.  Iron especially as, for some reason yet known, my body does not tend to hold strong levels regardless of supplements and foods I choose.  I no longer supplement iron and through food alone I’m maintaining- but it takes being conscious of what I eat.

I am not complaining that this snack fills the above needs for me. Including the desire to shove a bag of caramels in my face. It tastes remarkably like a caramel corn ball!  Close enough.

20% of today’s calcium and iron in one tablespoon of blackstrap molasses. I add it to smoothies and it’s always a good time to have a bowl popcorn with the swirl on top.

Check out this post on how to make the perfect bowl of stove top popcorn.

Popcorn is one I always go with organic on. Technically a grain, not a run ‘o the mill vegetable, it’s not Paleo. Just in case you are paying attention to that. No judgement here, friend.

This is my favorite molasses.  If you choose a different brand, look for organic, unsulphured, and blackstrap. And popcorn. I’ve tried half a dozen and this one yields great popped corn to unpopped corn ratio.

What do you like to drizzle on your popcorn?
