Preschool has us…adjusting to the whims of any cold virus that cares to pass through our little group. Hand washing was doubled at our house and out and about. My Little is one sensitive sweetie. Her aversion to public bathrooms (who can blame her) and patches of what doctors call eczema on her hands mean that plan is not going to work for us. I whipped up some soothing oil blends but to help keep us all well without causing her little hands the discomfort of over washing, we are using this easy hand sanitizer using essential oils. And it’s super convenient without having to negotiate with her to go in those super loud public bathrooms when out and about.
4 ounce spray bottle, glass like these (essential oils can break down plastic over time)
1 tablespoon aloe vera gel, my favorite is Lily of the Valley
20 drops doTERRA On Guard Protective Blend
- In spray bottle, combine aloe vera and doTERRA On Guard.
- Fill the rest of bottle with water. Shake until combined.
- To use, spray on hands and rub together. Bam!
I also use this as a spray to wipe down surfaces that could use a little disinfecting. If you know someone who shares doTERRA, reach out to them and scoop up a bottle to use. If not, I’d be honored to get a bottle to you easy peasy, or support you in going deeper in how essential oils can support you and your family. Just shoot me a note at firstname.lastname@example.org and see more here. I’m here to help.
